Obviously no two projects are exactly alike. In providing you with an estimate of the engineering fees for a particular project, we schedule a “pre-design” meeting with the client to discuss the objectives so both sides have a thorough understanding of steps required to complete a project.
Following this meeting, a scope of work is determined, fees are estimated, and follow-up negotiations take place if desired.

Every survey project is unique. A cost estimate can be provided after we discuss your needs, perform preliminary research, and develop a scope to accomplish the task.

Depending on the size of the project and the resources required, a down payment is occasionally requested. However, most projects are billed for the hours worked by each category of employee up to the maximum amount agreed upon by the client and SCE. Additional fees are not charged unless agreed to in advance by the client.

If the project goes better than expected, the project is completed before the estimated cost is reached resulting in a cost savings to the client. Unforeseen conditions outside the original scope of work may increase costs; however, this happens only after thorough discussion with the client.
